The Weekly News Roundup - week of October 18 - 22

Bieberama
- Conan O'Brien is having an online vote to determine who the first guest will be on his new show on TBS, and as of this morning, of the 12 options, Bieber was dead last. (JSYK)
- Some people are questioning why Canadian Bieber is performing at the AMAs, which are usually geared towards people born in the States. But Canada is part of North America... (JSYK)
- While playing laser tag in Canada last week, Justin Bieber allegedly punched a 12-year-oldkid because he was taunting Bieber with anti-gay slurs. The kid's father has filed a formal complaint with the Mounties, but no word yet as to whether charges will be pressed. (JSYK)
- Bieber's BFF and ex-gf Caitlin Beadles survived a horrible boating accident and is writing about her ordeal in installments on JSYK. It's really disturbing. (JSYK)
- JB loves the app/game Angry Birds, and he's not alone: Cory Monteith, Pete Wentz, and Conan O'Brien are just 3 of the 17.5 million people who have downloaded the app. (JSYK)

Movies
- In anticipation of next month's Deathly Hallows Part 1, Warner Brothers is whipping upPotter fever with 3-disc Ultimate Edition box sets of Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. These box sets include a ton of BTS footage, deleted scenes, interviews, a photo book, and trading cards. All this for only $40 for the DVDs, or $50 for Blu-ray. (JSYK and Amazon)
- Kristen Stewart is helping Stephanie Meyer with a very important decision: what Bella's wedding dress will look like. (JSYK)
- Tickets for Deathly Hallows are now available for pre-sale, a month before the November 19th release date. (JSYK)
- Rumor has it Jaden Smith will be in the new M. Night Shyamalan-directed sci-fi flick "One Thousand A.E.". (JJJ)
- Lindsay Lohan has been ordered by a judge to go to the Betty Ford Clinic and remain there until January 3rd. If she breaks the clinic's rules or fails a drug test before her Feb 25th court date, she will go to jail for 180 days. (CNN - awesomely, none of the teen blogs carried this story)

- All Star Weekend released their new album, "Suddenly Yours" this week. (JSYK)
- Taylor Swift covered Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" during a visit to BBC Radio 2 this week. (JSYK)
- Doctors are discouraging people from whipping their hair like Willow Smith, because it can cause whiplash and nerve damage. (JSYK)
- There's a lot of speculation that the songs on "Speak Now" are about Taylor's ex-boyfriendsJohn Mayer and Taylor Lautner, and of course "Innocent" is about Kanye. (JSYK)
- Taylor Swift's 21st birthday (Dec. 13) will be winter-themed. (JJJ)
- In a radio interview this week, Willow Smith said that she is a huge fan of Lady Gaga and would love to collaborate with her on a song. (JSYK)
- Willow also did an interview with Teen Vogue, in which she talked about Justin Bieber, Paris fashion week, and her own personal style. (Teen Vogue)
- Selena Gomez revealed in an interview with a French radio station that pal Justin Bieber prank-calls her all the time. (JJJ)
- Jason Derulo did a duet with Pixie Lott called "Coming Home!" (JJJ)
- Keke Palmer has released a teaser trailer for her single and webseries called "The One You Call". (JJJ)
- Big Time Rush performed at the Mall of America last weekend for over 9000 fans. (JJJ)
- Ke$ha has dedicated her song "We R Who We R" to the bullied teens who recently committed suicide. (Cambio)


Glee
- The Parents Television Council and parents across the country are up in arms over Cory Monteith, Lea Michelle and Dianna Agron's racy pictures in this month's GQ. Dianna issued an apology on her Tumblr, but also pointed out it's up to parents to keep their adult magazines away from their 8-year-olds. (JSYK)
- Cory Monteith wasn't exactly a model teen back in high school, but he's trying to keep that quiet so as not to be a bad influence on Gleeks. (JSYK)
- In honor of Halloween, Glee is doing a Rocky Horror episode. (JSYK)

- Joe Jonas will be on an episode of 90210, escorting Jessica Lowndes to an event. (JJJ)

- Penn Badgley is tired of working on Gossip Girl, and is ready to move on. (Cambio)


Doing Good
- David Archuleta will perform in the Inaugural Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge in Washington DC, a run, cycle, and walking event hosted by the Special Olympics and Best Buddies International. (JJJ)
- The 2010 Mattel Party on the Pier was on Sunday, benefiting the Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA. Attendees included Bella Thorne, Zendaya, Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Kelsey Chow, Ryan Ochoa, Nicole Anderson, and Diego Boneta. (JJJ)
- As we know, Tony Hawk had a little get-together fundraiser last weekend, and Kyle Massey was there, rubbing elbows with the skateboarding and BMXing elite. (JJJ)
- The Love Is Louder campaign held an event in WeHo on Tuesday, and founder Brittany Snow was there, joined by friend Jessica Stroup. (JJJ)


Cashing In
- Katy Perry is taking a page from the Official Bieber Playbook and is getting her own line of nail polish. Her colors will include pink sparkles, silver, sparkly blue, purple, and a black topcoat that cracks as it dries, making a cool weathered effect. (JJJ)
- Oh yes, there is a Rapunzel doll for "Tangled." (JJJ)
- Hilary Duff has just finished her first book tour, and is already planning to write a second novel. (Cambio)
