- T-Mobile has introduced an app upgrade called DriveSmart Plus. When your car is in motion, the app automatically sends all calls to voicemail, and auto-replies to texts with a message saying that you're currently driving. - In March, Nintendo will start selling a version of their handheld Nintendo DS system with a3D screen that does not require special glasses. A steal at only $250 (the original price of the Wii), the Nintendo 3DS comes with multiple built-in cameras that can not only capture 3D photos, it can also create a mii avatar of exactly you. Extraordinary Ordinary Kids
- 24 students from Valley Christian High School in San Jose CA have created the first student-designed, self-contained science experiment deemed worthy of heading to the International Space Station. In space. The experiment, which will test whether plants can grow in zero-gravity (or near zero-gravity) is being escorted to the ISS by the Japanese equivalent of NASA, on a shuttle scheduled to take off this week. It will take a week to reach its destination, where it will stay for a month before being brought back down to Earth. What did you do in your science class? Nothing that cool, I bet. (JSYK)
